Today is a ‘Y’ Day

• Today is the last chance to pick up your “Big Ticket” in the Schoo office. Elementary and middle school students can attend a high school sporting event for free today and tomorrow.

• MATHCOUNTS will meet starting next Wednesday (Sept. 19th) from 3 to 4 in room 223 with Mr. Chambers. MATHCOUNTS is a club for students in all grades and all abilities interested in challenging and improving their math skills as a team and as individuals. Hope to see you there.

• Intramural t-shirts are in. See Mrs. H after school or during PE class.

• Skyhawk Students next Wednesday there will be an 8th Grade Cake Judging Competition. That means you get to vote on your favorite cake inside the Multipurpose Room. Please look at all five cakes inside the trophy case and pick your favorite. May the best kitchen win!

• Diversity Leaders Club is a club that celebrates the diversity at Schoo and promotes the importance of attending college. The first meeting this year will be Wednesday (Sept. 19th) after school in the multipurpose room. If you have attended the club before, please consider bringing a friend!

• Slam Poetry starts on Monday (Sept. 17th) right after school in room 214 with Ms. Santos and Ms. Troupe. Come get a snack and meet your coaches!

• Students in Band, Orchestra, 8th Grade Chorus, Skyhawk Singers, and 6th Grade Choir, need to turn in their T-shirt money and order forms today (Sept. 14th).
