Today is a ‘Y’ Day

• Schoo’s monthly food market is today. If you have never participated and would like to, please see Mrs. Taurins in the Schoo office.

• Students! There are a lot of names today on the whiteboard outside the office. Please check it on your way to lunch. If your name is on the board there is something to pick up in the office.

• It’s Red Ribbon/Spirit Week (Oct. 29 to Nov. 2)! Tomorrow: “Living Drug-Free is NO SWEAT!” – Wear sweatpants and comfy clothing. No pajamas or slippers, please.

• Interested in a unique and challenging high school experience? Arts & Humanities invites you to come to their Open House on Thursday, Nov. 8 from 6-7 p.m.

• The Science Focus Program Open House/Info Night for prospective students will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 7th at the Lincoln Children’s Zoo: First session 6-7 p.m.; second session 7-8 p.m.

• Geography Club will meet after school on Monday (Nov. 5th) in Mr. Thatcher’s room, 344. Bring a friend and an ELITE attitude. See you there!

• Students are not allowed to wait outside after 3:15. If your ride has not arrived by that time, you must wait in the media center. You will be called out when your ride arrives. You also cannot leave the school grounds and return to ride the late bus.

• And the winner for the Box Top Challenge is . . . Mr. Simodynes first period class with 569 Box Tops! Enjoy your donuts and juice 1st period today! Mr. Reinwald’s class was second with 531! We will have another challenge during the month of March. Thanks to everyone who participated! Schoo collected 3,155 Box Tops earning our school $315.50! #LetsSchoo!
