October 30, 2019 – X Day

Schoo Middle School Daily Announcements

  • Current Events Club will meet today (Oct. 30th) after school in Mr. Bogus’ room, 213. Please bring a friend and an open mind!
  • The Student Peace Fallbrook neighborhood food collection scheduled for today after school has been postponed to Monday due to the forecast of snow. Join Student Peace on Monday from 3 to 4 p.m. as they walk around Fallbrook to collect donated items. You may still bring in donations of non-perishable food items for WE Scare Hunger now through Nov. 4th. Take items to your 4th period class. The 4th period that brings in the most items will win a class reward while helping feed members of our community.
  • It’s Spirit Week! Today is Jersey/Sports Day, and tomorrow is Grade Level Color Day – 6th graders wear blue, 7th graders wear white, 8th graders wear black and staff members wear gray! Friday is Decade Day. Pick your favorite decade to represent! Will it be the 50s, 60s, 70s or 80s? We hope you all dress up and have fun with Spirit Week!
  • Students: Please do not bring blankets to school. If you need a jacket or warm clothing as the weather gets cooler, please see your counselor or someone in the office.
  • Remember that the ‘Skill of the Week’ is ‘Making a New Friend.’ Your 1st period teacher will be watching and keeping track of students who demonstrate the skill of the week as well as general kindness towards others. Let’s reach 100 by Friday!
  • It’s National Candy Corn Day! Candy Corn was created by George Renninger of Wunderle Candy Company in the late 1800s. He created this sweet treat to represent the bright colors of corn kernels.
