October 31, 2019 – Y Day

Schoo Middle School Daily Announcements

Join Student Peace on Monday (Nov. 4th) from 3 to 4 p.m. as they walk around Fallbrook to collect donated items. You may still bring in donations of non-perishable food items for WE Scare Hunger now through Nov. 4th. Take items to your 4th period class. The 4th period that brings in the most items will win a class reward while helping feed members of our community.

It’s Spirit Week! Today is Grade Level Color Day – 6th graders wear blue, 7th graders wear white, 8th graders wear black and staff members wear gray! Tomorrow is Decade Day. Pick your favorite decade to represent! Will it be the 50s, 60s, 70s or 80s?

Students: Please do not bring blankets to school. If you need a jacket or warm clothing as the weather gets cooler, please see your counselor or someone in the office.

Remember that the ‘Skill of the Week’ is ‘Making a New Friend.’ Your 1st period teacher will be watching and keeping track of students who demonstrate the skill of the week as well as general kindness towards others. Let’s reach 100!

There is no Skyhawk Singers practice tomorrow (Friday)! Happy Halloween! If you are in choir and ordered a t-shirt, please stop by the music office to get it.

It’s Halloween! Ghouls and goblins, creatures and strange folk come creeping about the neighborhood seeking favors over trickery. This holiday tradition has become known as Halloween. Dating back to an ancient pagan harvest festival, the living would wear costumes and light bright bonfires to help protect them when interacting with spirits.
