To educate, enrich, serve and support the Schoo Community in order to prepare students for the future.

As a Reminder:

Our neighbors in Fallbrook have asked us to remind families to please refrain from driving down and parking in the private alleys in the neighborhood when dropping off or picking up students. There have been some instances where neighborhood residents are unable to enter or exit their homes due to Schoo traffic blocking their driveways.

Arrival and Departure Procedures

Traffic Map

A traffic flow pattern has been designed in conjunction with City of Lincoln traffic engineers, to provide the greatest level of safety for students.  It provides drop-off locations on the school side of Penrose Drive and Tallgrass Pkwy.  A copy of this map is available on the Schoo web site and in the school office.

Arrival Times

The earliest arrival time is 7:30 a.m.  This is when outside supervision begins.  For reasons of safety, students should not be on campus prior to this time.

Arrival Procedures

Upon arriving at school, all students should move directly to the area designated for their grade level to enter the building.  The Schoo campus is closed until 7:30 a.m.

Students choosing to eat breakfast may enter the main entrance at 7:30 a.m.  Students will enter through the serving area, make their breakfast selections, and remain seated in the cafeteria until the 7:53 a.m. bell.   All students may enter the building at 7:53 a.m.

Class begins at 8:00 a.m.  Students arriving after the beginning of classes should report to the office to receive a pass to class.

Drop-Off and Pick-Up

Drop-off and pick-up your children on the passenger side of the car to ensure children do not have to cross the street.  Avoid double parking, which causes children to walk between cars.  Do not wait in or drop off students in curbside areas designated as “NO STOPPING” zones.  Other motorists cannot see the cross walk if cars are using these areas to pick up or drop off students.

Please do not pull in or park in the school bus unloading/loading drive on the west side of the school.   This area is reserved for school buses from 7:25 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. and from 2:30 p.m. – 3:10 p.m. daily.
